The Willow Springs R-IV School District is a public school district serving 1300+ students in an area of 310 square miles located primarily in Howell County with portions of the district in Douglas and Texas counties. The district owns many facilities on the various campuses, all for the purpose of providing high quality education to students enrolled in Pre-K through grade 12. The Willow Springs High School was established in 1894 with the first graduation held in 1895. The campus is located on Ferguson Street and stretches from Fourth to Tenth Streets. The average experience for teachers in the district is fourteen years. Fifty eight percent of the teachers in the district have a Masters Degree or higher.
